Your privacy, kept simple

Playaby is built to be playable without an account, and most of what we collect is minimal and non-identifying:

• Theme preference. Your chosen theme is saved in your browser's local storage so it persists between visits. It never leaves your device or reaches our servers.
• Usage analytics. We use Vercel Analytics to see aggregate traffic patterns (e.g. which games and pages are popular). It is cookie-free and does not track you individually across sites.
• Advertising data. Pages that show ads load Google AdSense, which may set cookies or use device identifiers to serve and measure ads. See "Advertising" below.

Playaby uses Google AdSense to show ads that help keep every game free to play. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or by visiting aboutads.info to opt out of participating vendors. For details on how Google uses data when you use our site, see How Google uses information from sites that use our services.

Playaby itself only uses your browser's local storage to remember your theme choice — no first-party tracking cookies. Third-party services embedded on the site (currently Google AdSense) may set their own cookies, governed by their own privacy policies linked throughout this page.

Playaby is a general-audience arcade and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because some visitors may be under 13, ad content is served in line with Google's policies for sites with mixed audiences. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us using the details below and we will remove it.

We don't operate user accounts or store personal profiles today, so there is no login credential or personal data set at risk on our end. If that changes — for example if account-based features like saved high scores are introduced — this policy will be updated first to describe what is collected and how it is protected.

We may update this policy as Playaby adds features (such as optional sign-in for leaderboards). Material changes will be reflected by updating the "last updated" date at the top of this page.
